Rafael Villarreal

Mission ~ Rafael Villarreal, 82, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on Wednesday, March 11, 1942 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of Rafael Villarreal Cardoza and Ramona Cardoza. 

He is survived by Maria Villarreal de la Fuente; his sons: Rafael Villarreal (his wife) María de los Angeles Vega Martínez, (their son) Yosio Villarreal; Renato Villarreal (his sons) Eros Villarreal, Renato Villarreal, Jr. and Antonio Villarreal; Reynaldo Villarreal; Rolando Villarreal (his wife) Kelly Connely Villarreal (their children) Briana Connely, Christian Connely, Alexis Villarreal, Aiden Villarreal, (Rolando Villarreal Jr. - deceased); siblings: Otilia Villarreal Cardoza and family, Daniel Villarreal Cardoza and family, Elia Mar Villarreal Cardoza and family, (Osvaldo Villarreal Cardoza - deceased)

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, July 17, 2024 with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm, Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm and Mariachis 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Visitation from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Cremation will follow. Rivera Funeral Home of Mission is in charge of arrangements.
