Rafaela G Salazar

Mission ~ Rafaela G. Salazar, 93, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Mission Regional Hospital. She was born on Monday, October 24, 1927 in Jalisco Mexico to Eufemio y Maria de Jesus (Lopez) Gutierrez. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Manuel Salazar.

Rafaela had lived in the Mission area for 60 years and was a devoted Catholic who attended San Martin de Porres in Alton, Tx. She is survived by her children: Casimiro Gutierrez, Manuel Salazar Jr., Anita Gutierrez, Maria de Jesus Garza, Juan Salazar, Martin Salazar, Candida Villarreal, Guadalupe Salazar and 45 grandchildren/great grandchildren.

Visitations will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission following interment at Valley Memorial Garden at 3:00 pm.
