Ramiro was born on December 9, 1945 to Nazario and Celsa Flores in Valparaiso, Zacatecas.
He is survived by his two sons, Richard and Robert Flores; Daughter-in-law, Shannon Flores; Grandson, Gavin Alejandro Flores; Brother, Samuel Flores; Sister, Juanita Villagrana; Sisters-in-law, Eloisa Meza and Frances Rodriguez; Brother-in-law, Jose Luis Alvarez and many godchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ramiro came to the United States as a young man to better support himself and his family back home in Mexico. He eventually settled in Houston, TX performing different kinds of jobs until finally becoming a roofer as his permanent profession. He, along with his wife Delia, worked hard to care for their family their whole lives. He was well loved by many and enjoyed keeping in touch with the many people he cared about. He will be greatly missed by many, especially by those who regularly enjoyed a good conversation with him.
A visitation will be held at Rivera Funeral Home, located at 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen, on January 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at the same venue on January 28, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church located at 900 S. 23rd St., McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery located at 1201 S. Main St., McAllen.

Ramiro Flores, nacido el 9 de diciembre de 1945 en Valparaíso, Zacatecas, falleció el 19 de enero de 2026 a la edad de 80 años. Ramiro residía en Houston, Texas.
Le sobreviven sus dos hijos, Richard y Robert Flores; su nuera, Shannon Flores; su nieto, Gavin Alejandro Flores; su hermano, Samuel Flores; su hermana, Juanita Villagrana; sus cuñadas, Eloisa Meza y Frances Rodriguez; su cuñado, Jose Luis Alvarez, y muchos ahijados, sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.
Ramiro vino a los Estados Unidos siendo joven para poder apoyar mejor a su familia en México. Finalmente se estableció en Houston, TX, donde desempeñó diversos trabajos hasta convertirse en techador, su profesión permanente. Junto con su esposa Delia, trabajaron arduamente para cuidar de su familia durante toda su vida. Fue muy querido por muchos y disfrutaba mantener contacto con las personas que le importaban. Será profundamente extrañado, especialmente por aquellos que disfrutaban de una buena conversación con él regularmente.
El velorio va ser en la Funeraria Rivera, ubicada en 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen, el 28 de enero de 2026, de 3:00 pm a 9:00 pm. Un servicio de Santo Rosario se realizará en el mismo lugar el 28 de enero de 2026, de 7:00 pm a 8:00 pm. Misa Funebre se celebrara a las 10:00 am en la Iglesia de San Jose el Obrero, 900 S. 23rd, McAllen. El Entierro sera a las 11:00 am,en Cemeterio de Roselawn, 1201 S. Main St., McAllen.
