Ramiro Ortiz, Jr.

Mission ~ Ramiro Ortiz, Jr., 67, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born Saturday, January 16, 1954 in San Juan, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the son of Ramiro and Natividad (Lozano) Ortiz. He worked at McAllen Medical Center cafeteria and kitchen for more than 40 years. He enjoyed music and family gatherings. He was a very happy person, always smiling. He is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father: Ramiro Ortiz; brother: Juan Ortiz, Sr.; sister-in-law: Maria Ortiz; nieces and nephews: Brenda Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Jr., Emily Torres and Alberto Ortiz.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission with a Rosary service being held at 7:00 pm. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
