Ramona Ramos

McAllen ~ Ramona Ramos, 97, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Windsor Las Palmas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McAllen. She was born on Thursday, September 1, 1927 in Donna, Texas, the daughter of Gabino Ramos and Teresa Claudio. She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter: Maria De La Luz Torres.

She is survived by her children: Antonio Lopez, Carlos Garcia, Mara Teresa Rodriguez, Jesus Garcia and Jose Garcia; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, September 16, 2024 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Final gather will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
