Ramona Vigil

McAllen ~ Ramona Vigil, 94, entered eternal rest on November 24, 2021 at her home in McAllen. She was born on August 30, 1927, in Pharr, Texas the daughter of Gregorio Gonzalez and Inocencia Carmona. She was a life long resident of McAllen. She enjoyed going to church and volunteered at St. Joseph the Worker. She loved family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ambrosio Vigil; sister: Elena (Rudy) Serna and brother: Greg Gonzalez.

She is survived by her children: Dennise Vigil, Eddie (Emma) Vigil, Eva (Carl+) Allen and Ana M. Rojas; sister: Alicia Gonzalez; grandchildren: Elaine (Adam) Reese and Erica (Jerry) Bergman; Great-granddaughter: Madaline Reese; her doggies: Randy, Skipper and Toby; numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 30, 2021 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
