Mr. Reyes Salazar entered eternal rest Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Harlinegn Medical Center surrounded by his family. Reyes was 57 years old. He was born January 6, 1963 in Los Herreras, Mexico to Manuel Salazar and Bernarda Salazar. Reyes was a long time resident of Mission. Reyes was a hardworking man. He was a goat herder back in his hom etown of Los Herreras,NL. Mexico. He would sell auto trucks. He was a good businessman. He would always provide for his family. Any and all money he would make was to give out to family. Reyes lived life to its fullest. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife- Dora Salazar; His children- Brisieda Salazar, Gerardo Salazar, Marlene Salazar, Leslie Salazar; His brothers and Sisters- Marcelos Salazar, Maria Salazar, Baudelia Salazar, Manuel Salazar, Fidel Salazar; Five grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.

Viewing will take place Thursday, May 28, 202 at Rivera Funeral Home,1813 N. Conway, in Mission from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, May 29, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow to Santa Fe Celestial Cemetery in Mission.

El Sr. Reyes Salazar entró en eterno descanso el miércoles 27 de mayo de 2020 en el Centro Médico Harlinegn rodeado de su familia. Reyes tenía 57 años. Nació el 6 de enero de 1963 en Los Herreras, México, hijo de Manuel Salazar y Bernarda Salazar. Reyes fue un residente de Mission desde hace mucho tiempo. Reyes era un hombre trabajador. Era un pastor de cabras en su ciudad natal de Los Herreras, NL. Mexico Vendería camiones de auto. Fue un buen hombre de negocios. Siempre mantendría a su familia. Cualquier y todo el dinero que ganaría sería dar a la familia. Reyes vivió la vida al máximo. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres.

Queda para apreciar su memoria su amada esposa, Dora Salazar; Sus hijos: Brisieda Salazar, Gerardo Salazar, Marlene Salazar, Leslie Salazar; Sus hermanos y hermanas: Marcelos Salazar, Maria Salazar, Baudelia Salazar, Manuel Salazar, Fidel Salazar; Cinco nietos

La visita tendrá lugar el jueves 28 de mayo de 202 en Rivera Funeral Home, 1813 N. Conway, en Mission, de 2:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., con el recital del Santo Rosario que comenzará a las 6:00 p.m. Los servicios fúnebres serán el viernes 29 de mayo de 2020 en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe a las 2:00 PM. El entierro seguirá al cementerio celestial de Santa Fe en Mission.
