Ricardo Alaniz, Jr.

Edinburg ~ Ricardo Alaniz, Jr., 50, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 1, 2024 at his Edinburg home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Saturday, February 16, 1974 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Ricardo Alaniz and Magdalena Estrada. He is preceded in death by his father. 

He is survived by his wife: Magdalena Bazarte Alaniz; mother: Magdalena Estrada; children: Ricardo Alaniz, IV, Yaritza Alaniz, Julissa Alaniz, Aiden Alaniz, Damian Alaniz, Monze Alaniz, and Leon Alaniz; step-daughters: Yoselin, Rubi and Amairani; two sisters: Bertha Alaniz and Hilda Alaniz; and nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, July 5, 2024 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
