Roberto Moreno, 72, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 27, 1953, the son of Juan Moreno Garcia and Zenaida Moreno, Roberto was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He dedicated his life to his family and took great pride in providing love, guidance, and strength to those around him. His kindness, steady presence, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Roberto is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda Moreno; his children, Roberto Moreno Jr., Monica Moreno, Ruben Moreno, and Ricardo Moreno; and his cherished grandchildren, Gael Roberto Moreno and Nadia Moreno. He is also survived by his siblings, Nicolas Moreno, Juana Moreno, Rosa Moreno, Irma Moreno, and Domitila Moreno, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, 1201 S. Main St., McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. 

Roberto’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family will continue to live on through those he leaves behind.
