Roberto Garza Obituary

Mission ~ Roberto Sergio Garza, 83, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He was born on Friday, May 21, 1937 in Matamoros, Mexico the son of Roberto Garza and Carolina Villarreal Saldivar.

He is survived by his wife: Ana Laura Garza; four children: Roberto (Guadalupe) Garza of Monterrey, Ana Laura (Raul) Hinojosa of Mission, Javier (Nancy Benavides) Garza of McAllen and Jose Edgar Garza of Brownsville; six grandchildren: Eric Hinojosa, Adriana Garza, Gina Garza, Carolina Garza, Damian Garza and Sofia Garza; his siblings, Carlos Garza, Dolores Soto, Aide Guzman, Oscar Garza, Mario Manuel Garza† and Rodolfo Garza.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Memorial services starting at 6:30 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
