Rodolfo Salinas Guerra

God has taken a precious piece of our hearts, our loss is so profound. Last night heaven gained a wonderful, charismatic, light hearted, gentle, selfless, working, supportive, boundless loving father and grandfather; Mr. Rodolfo Salinas Guerra. Rodolfo entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the McAllen Medical Hospital. Rodolfo was 58 years old. Rodolfo was born on May 09, 1960 in Mexico to Arturo Salinas and Dolores Guerra. Rodolfo was a long time resident of McAllen. Rodolfo being born in Mexico , loved the USA. Rodolfo truly enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a man who would greet you with a smile and could talk for hours. Rodolfo would wait anxiously for Christmas every year, to start decorating the season bright inside and outside of his home. "Oh how he loved Christmas." We will miss him dearly. It gives us comfort that dad will continue to live in the hearts,giggles, and laughs of his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. 

Rodolfo is preceded in death by his father Arturo Salinas. Left to cherish his memory is his wife- Bertha Iglesias de Salinas; his children- Rodolfo Salinas Jr., "Rudy", Bertha Roxanna Nassiff, Noe Isai Salinas; Siblings- San Juanita Cerda, Jose Antonio Salinas Guerra, Leticia Salinas Guerra, Martha Patricia Gutierrez; his mother- Dolores Guerra de Salinas; his beloved grandchildren- Alissandro Berali Nassiff, Alizma Arabella Nassiff, Maya Elise Salinas, Noah Evan Salinas, and Olivia Evelyn Salinas

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 22, 2018 and Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service both evenings at 7:00 PM. Funeral and burial services will be held on Monday December 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission at 10:00 AM.
