Peñitas ~ Rogelio Garcia, 84, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born on Wednesday September 16, 1936 in Matamoros, Mexico, the son of Esiquiel and Glorinda (Reyes) Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a man of few words but he loves his family and was not afraid to say it. His greatest love was his wife, if you saw one of them you saw the other, always together. He loved messing with her and making her mad, but if he didn't do that she would worry that he was not ok. He was less active with his hobbies, but when he was younger he liked to read a lot. You could always find him with a novela in his hands. He liked watching the novelas on TV and Western movies, even if he did not understand what was being said. He liked going out to eat, most of the pictures of him are at a restaurant eating his favorite meals. He catered to his goats and took care of the kids as if they were real babies. He was very much loved by everyone!
He was preceded in death be his parents and his loving wife: Flora.
