McAllen ~ Rogelio Mendoza Martinez, 64, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He was born on Saturday, February 27, 1960 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Josefat Jesus Martinez and Elida Mendoza.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Josefat Jesus Martinez and Elida Martinez; three brothers: Jesse Mendoza Martinez, Jr., Armando Mendoza Martinez and Cesar Manuel Mendoza Martinez.

He is survived by his brothers: Homero Mendoza Martinez, Eddie Mendoza Martinez, Roel Mendoza Martinez, Javier Mendoza Martinez and Afonso Mendoza Martinez; his goddaugher: Danielle Olaque; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church, 1929 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
