Rolando Montehermoso Madrazo, affectionately known as Rolly to his friends and loved ones, lived a life marked by exuberance, wisdom, and an unending capacity for love. Born on April 30, 1947, in the Philippines, Rolly embarked on an extraordinary journey that spanned 77 remarkable years, culminating in a peaceful passing at his home in McAllen, Texas, on February 25, 2025.

He attended Loyola Marymount University where he delved into the world of Philosophy, a discipline that would shape his thoughtful approach to life. His dedication to study was a testament to his intelligence and his unwavering quest for understanding the world and the human condition.

Professionally, Rolly's career was a reflection of his commitment and versatility. He served with distinction as a Secretary at Coca-Cola in Zamboanga City, Philippines, where his colleagues revered him for his kindness and his ability to inspire those around him. Together, they nurtured a family that included their daughters, Anne Veronique, Marie Carmine, Luz Angelique, their son, Luke Dominic, and their cherished grandchildren, Rosemarie Eve and Grayson Michael. Rolly's sons-in-law, Geoffrey and Gabriel Alfonso, were embraced as part of this tightly-knit circle of love and support.

Those who knew Rolly would unanimously agree that he was a beacon of kindness, always extending a hand of friendship and a word of encouragement. His presence was a source of comfort and his guidance, a light for those in search of direction. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with a Holy Rosary been recited at 6:30 pm.
