Rosa Valdez de Luna

McAllen ~ Rosa Valdez de Luna, 94, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born Monday, May 18, 1931 in Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico, the daughter of Plutarco Valdez and Petronila De Luna.

She is survived by three sons: Francisco J. Peña, Alberto Peña and Huincar Peña; ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm  to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
