Rosalinda Ramirez, 45, entered eternal rest Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the McAllen Medical Hospital. Rosalinda was born October 10, 1975 in McAllen, Texas to Florentino and Manuela(Trevino) Mendoza. Rosalinda lived in Alton for most of her life. She loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed trying new foods, getting pampered, and being with her dogs. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rosalinda is survived by her beloved family; Her children Selena Adriana Ramirez, Luis Vidal Ramirez, Jr and Jessica Alexis Ramirez; Her brother- Jose Guadalupe Mendoza.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home,1813 N. Conway in Mission from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 PM, Funeral and burial will be Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at Santa Fe Celestial cemetery in Mission. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in Mission.
