Sean Andrew Longoria

Sean Andrew Longoria was born May 15, 2004 in McAllen Texas. Sean's soul left his body on June 22, 2022. 
Sean attended Olle Middle School where his love for playing was born and of course, his favorite football team... The Texans! Sean attended James Nikki Rowe High School where he was a proud Warrior. Sean was an avid chess player and competitors traveled long distances for a chance to compete against him.
Sean loved his "Wela" and "Welo" and often traveled to California to visit his "Wela's" family and to Mexico to visit his "Welo's" family. He like that his "Wela" worked at the library because he enjoyed visiting so he could read books. He was also keen to brag about his "Welo" being a famous singer. Mostly Sean relished in spending time with all the cousins getting into and creating mischief.
Sean was especially proud to be a Tejano! He was very proud of his Longoria heritage and proudly shared all about his ancestors to anyone who would listen. He loved his Grandpa Longoria and enjoyed spending time listening about his time in the service and often shared with other that his Grandpa had served his country. Sean often reminded his family, particularly his California family, of the love for his great stat by serenading them with The Yellow Rose of Texas or Deep in the Heart of Texas, and how can we forget his love for carne guisada with avocado from El Pato.
Sean leaves behind his mother, father, a sister and a brother. In addition, three grandparents, aunts, uncles and countless cousins. Sean will be missed by his family and has left a gaping hole that will never be filled. Sean had a gentle and captivating soul, his smile was the sweetest and filled his family's heart. Everyone who came across him was better for having met him. Sean was and forever will be so loved. 
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen followed by the recital  Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. A final gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
