Silvia Solis, was a caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend. She was called from our world on April 20th, 2023. Born on November 3, 1941, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Silvia's presence touched the heart of many throughout her journey. Silvia shared her life with her late husband, Guadalupe Solis, may he rest in peace. Together they had four children: Juan Jose, Guadalupe Junior, Nereida and Silvia. Together they had twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Silvia's strength and wisdom continue to alter our lives. Her ability to captivate our imagination through personal cuentos from a time long ago in Tampico; or remembrances of her favorite children's canciones such as Caminito de la Escuela, not only entertained us as children, but continue to instill life lessons. An invaluable lesson Silvia imparted to us all was "Todos deben llevar su propia cruz," walking alongside us and showing us the way. Her unwavering devotion to family and friends, ingrained within us, will be carried forward throughout generations.
