McAllen ~ Stephen Michael Gonzalez, 33, passed away on May 5, 2025, in McAllen, Texas. He was born on March 23, 1992 in Paw Paw, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father: Paul Gonzalez.

Stephen was the beloved son of Deborah Ann Shears. He was cherished by his siblings, Cyan Paige Thomas, Asia Marie Gonzalez, Christian Gonzalez, Andrew Gonzalez, and John Thomas. He was also dearly loved by his grandfather, Ramon Gonzalez, and his grandmother, Irma Gonzalez, 

Memorial Services for Stephen will be from 5 pm to 9 pm  on Friday, May 15, 2025 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen, Texas. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together in remembrance of Stephen Michael Gonzalez and to honor the life he lived with dignity, love, and grace.

Though his earthly journey has ended, Stephen Michael Gonzalez will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His memory will be carried with tenderness and pride, and his legacy of love, family, and kindness will not be forgotten.
