Tomas Salinas, Jr.

McAllen - Tomas Salinas, Jr., 78 years, passed away on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on Monday September 16, 1940 in McAllen, the son of Tomas Salinas and Paula Garcia.

Survivors Include his wife: Elma G. Salinas; six children: Ricardo T. Salinas, Luis E. Salinas, Cesar H. Salinas, Diana E. Salinas, Sonia L. Valdez and Nora Balandrano; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2019 and Friday, August 23, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
