Tomasita Cuellar Lanfranco,72, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Tomasita was born November 17, 1947 Mexico to Tomas Cuellar and Lydia Guerra Cuellar. Tomasita was a long time resident of McAllen.  Tomasita was a long time resident of McAllen. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in McAllen. Tomasita was a housewife and seamstress. She had a strong Catholic faith and love for God. Tomasita was a devoted wife and mother. She loved and enjoyed going to the beach and the zoo and enjoyed eating, especially Menudo. Tomasita Cuellar Lanfranco truly lived life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband Mr. Ramon Arnoldo Lanfranco.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Ernestina Lanfranco, Cristina Mendoza-Lanfranco, Esmeralda Garcia-Lanfranco, Arnoldo Lanfranco; Siblings- Tomas Cuellar, Alejandro Cuellar, Lupita Irma Faire, Maria De Jesus Ramirez, Lydia Cuellar, Santiago Cuellar, Juanita Faire, Olga Perez, Emilia Benavides, Rora Cuellar, Gabino Cuellar; Her loving grandchildren- Elizabeth Mendoza, Christopher Mendoza, Gregory Garcia, Zachary Garcia, Arrabella Lanfranco, Luke Lanfranco and Shiloh Lanfranco.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, January 27, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to be at 7:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 12:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church in McAllen. Interment will follow to the Rio Grande Valley state veterans cemetery in Mission where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
