Zoila Charles

Pharr ~ Zoila Charles, 70, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 20, 2020 at McAllen Medical Center.  She was born on Friday, September 22, 1950 in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico the daughter of Jose Sanchez Garza and Martha Castillo. Zoila's love was her grandchildren.  She enjoyed music, especially cumbias, and her morning coffee with sweetbread.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Jesus Charles; brothers: Antonio Sanchez and Jose Sanchez; sister: Josefina Sanchez.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Olga Yadira Charles (Javier Martinez); brothers: Jesus Sanchez and Pilar Sanchez; sisters: Irma Sanchez, Martha Sanchez, Margarita Sanchez, Aundencia Sanchez, Juanita Sanchez, Librada Sanchez, Obdulia Sanchez, Maria Sanchez, and Lupita Sanchez; grandchildren: Jose Alonzo Charles, Enrique Charles, and Marco Antonio Charles.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday November 23, 2020 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
